I've been playing through Dread's hard mode, and I'm getting towards the end. I've been struggling with Golzuna (mostly with the attack where he throws out a diagonal line of cross bombs) and i was wondering if anyone had some kind of catalog for damage values (maybe a spreadsheet/google doc)?
Much apreciated.
I'll pay £20 to anyone who can get me a clip of charging the Annihilator Beam's Combo upgrade—called the Sonic Boom. I want the audio of it to use as a sound-effect in a video. Unfortunately there's nothing available already on YouTube; there is one clip, but they fire the charge too soon which ruins the sound-effect.
It needs to be done in the quietest room of the map that you can find—quiet with respect to both music and background-sounds—I doubt you'll find anywhere absolutely silent, and don't waste too much time looking for the perfect place, it just needs to be pretty quiet; as an example, Save Stations are relatively quiet, but the 'computer' noises they make are probably too intrusive for this; somewhere with background-sound akin to the ambient sounds in the underground holes in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask would be quiet enough, on the other hand; I remember Dark Aether in Echoes being quieter in general than Aether proper.
Once you've found a suitably quiet room, just stand still, select the Annihilator Beam, and charge its Sonic Boom "Beam Combo" upgrade—it's the Annihilator Beam's version of the "Super Missile"; then continue to hold it fully charged for a few seconds. That's all you need to do.
I'll pay £10 initially once you can confirm that you are able to do it by showing me a clip of you in the part of the map concerned—see below for more details on this part—; then I'll pay you the other £10 once you have given me the requested footage.
So initially, please go to the 'quiet' room you've found to take the footage in—no need to show yourself travelling there, you can start the footage once you're in the room itself—; then open the menu and navigate to the section of the menu that shows a description of the Sonic Boom upgrade for the Annihilator Beam; then close the menu and turn around a full 360*. Doing these steps in order will show me that it is indeed you yourself taking the footage, and will confirm that you are actually able to get the requested footage of the Sonic Boom charging. Make sure to have enough ammo before-hand of course.
We can make contact through Discord once you agree to do it and from there share details for getting the payment to you.
To give me the footage, I guess just upload it to draft YouTube account, or share it through Google Drive or something like that. I can take Screen-Recordings, so all I need to do is to be able to view your footage; I won't actually need to have the video-file from you, you see.
I'll try to write a joke for you. Here's one:
```
Q: What do you call a fish that wears a bowtie?
A: Sofishticated.
```
Some other possible jokes are:
```
Q: How does a penguin build its house?
A: Igloos it together.
```
```
Q: Why did the coffee file a police report?
A: It got mugged.
```
```
Q: What do you call a snake that works for the government?
A: A civil serpent.
an trick to deal with them: counter when u see flash!!!!1!11!1
I recently bought Metroid Prime 2: Echoes from a local store for $35. Its been forever since I’ve played it and at $35, that was a steal compared to the $100+ I usually find it for.
Anyway while playing it earlier today I realized two things.
Knowing my luck, when I finish this playthrough of MP2 Nintendo is going to announce the rumored MP2/3 Remastered combo.
There is great potential for Nintendo to vastly upgrade the multiplayer aspect of Prime 2.
As many of you will recall, the multiplayer of Prime 2 was a bit fun but had room for improvement. Room that Prime Hunters had managed to utilize to enhance the experience. However I don’t think that Nintendo would overhaul Prime 2’s multiplayer to be Prime Hunters’ style of multiplayer, a hybrid of the two, or perhaps a new multiplayer style. I think Nintendo is simply going to remaster the multiplayer maps and allow online PvP multiplayer.
However there is slight room for improvement in the form of cosmetic options. Prime 2 only allowed every player to have a pre-set cosmetic color palette swap of Samus’ Varia Suit. Player 1 was always default colored, P2 was silver, P3 was green, and P4 was dark blue. I see room for improvement.
Here is how I would enhance this factor ---
At default, new players of Prime 2&3 Remastered would have the Varia Suit and Varia Suit colors as their multiplayer avatar. You can of course go and adjust your color palette to some other colors, such as Red, Green, Pink, Cyan, Dark Blue, and Purple color palettes.
But by playing through Metroid Prime 2: Dark Echoes Remastered, players can unlock the ability to have the Dark Suit, Light Suit, Dark Samus, and Prime Dark Samus as outfit options; while also unlocking the color pallets for such suits and some new color palettes as well.
Playing through Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Remastered, players can unlock the PED Suit and Corrupted PED Suit as outfit options, as well as color pallets referencing said suits and the boss characters of the game.
But this is not where it should end. I think that like with Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime back in 2002; players should be able to use save-file recognition in order to obtain suits from other Metroid games.
Did you play and beat Metroid Prime Remastered? You obtain the Fusion Suit, Power Suit, and Gravity Suit as options plus the Phazon Suit color palette option if you beat the game with all items unlocked.
Did you play Metroid Dread and beat the game on par time? You obtain the Neo-Power Suit, Neo-Varia Suit, Neo-Gravity Suit, and Metroid Suits as cosmetic options.
Of course, players can also use Amiibos to unlock the suits from other games. Such as the Metroid Samus Returns Amiibo being used to unlock the SR Power Suit, SR Varia Suit, and SR Gravity Suit designs - allowing players to see the armor in full HD high-poly rendering.
This is simply the extent of what I would do to expand the cosmetic options of Metroid Prime’s multiplayer.
There is also the factor that is possible new contents for gameplay purposes. Sure, remaster all the old maps and power ups and such for the multiplayer of Prime 2.
But I would argue that remastering the maps of Prime Hunters' multiplayer and adding in new PvP maps for Prime 1 and Prime 3 locales would bolster and boost the multiplayer to new heights. Especially given how far developers and map designers have gone in the past twenty-some years; the newer maps would allow the Metroid Prime multiplayer scene to be more prosperous and enjoyable for a long run.
What do you guys think?
Okay, so I’m working on making more edits on the Captain N Wiki, and I couldn’t help but notice you guys have a lot of images that could be of use to me. Is it alright if I add them to their relevant pages on the Captain N Wiki? Do I need permission or something?
Hi i’m new and have only recently started metroid but i love it and i have played metroid dread for so long that i know shortcuts 🫡🫡
The luminoth are always depicted with their armor, or cybernetic augmentations it's hard to tell which it is. I would like to see what they look like without these . Does anyone know of a depiction of their natural form?
I got Prime Remastered as a present, and I forgot to scan the wasps the Hive Mech sends out, uhhh, do they appear anywhere else so I can scan them?
